Distribution Overview
Our first distribution in Pakistan in early September 2025 was our first-ever distribution, and was attended by many people close by the location, as there was a desperate need for access to food due to the ongoing flooding in the country, creating food shortages.
To fund this distribution, we raised over $3,000 (in-person and online) and ended up giving away all the food packages we had prepared. We were able to help 100+ people and 20+ families during this distribution, marking a great start to our mission to fight food insecurity!
Story Behind Distribution
Pakistan 2025
In the summer of 2025, Pakistan experienced dangerously strong monsoon rains that displaced millions due to the extreme flooding that resulted. Many ingredients used to create meals were lost and destroyed due to the homes, stores, and farmland all being severely damaged due to the flooding. Many regions of the country were affected, and food security was an extreme challenge for all. This raised the need for our team to act to help fight against the hunger being encountered by the people of Pakistan.

Preparation & Distribution

Starting in late May, we decided to act to begin providing aid to Pakistan as part of our efforts for our first distribution ever. Throughout the summer of 2025, we worked to fundraise as much as we could from workplaces, online, and just asking around. Eventually, we were able to meet our goal for the distribution as we raised over $3000 and were able to prepare over 20 food packages for this initial distribution. We would use the rest of our funds for the following distribution, which would be much larger.
What do food packages consist of?
Each food package has ingredients that were in total purchased for $20, which was also due to the help of several stores kindly helping sponsor some of the items found in the packages.
To the right is a video demonstrating the various food items packed that will fit the needs of a family for 1-2 months.
